Contract and Health Guarantee

This agreement is between (Seller) White River Doodles and the said Buyer as signed at the bottom. It is agreed between seller and the buyer as follows:

Description of Puppy. The puppy is sold to buyer to the terms of this agreement are as follows:

​

Conditions of Sale: Seller guarantees that at the time of delivery/pick up, the puppy is in genetically good health. By 8 weeks old it has been throughly examined by our vet and checked from nose to tail. If she finds a problem it WILL be reported to you before you receive the puppy.

Deposits are refundable up until you choose your puppy between 4 and 6 weeks, if for any reason you need to back out after choosing your puppy, your deposit is no longer refundable, only transferable  to the next litter. We will allow you to transfer your deposit  a total of 4 times (litters) before the deposit is forfeited. Seller can opt to refuse sale for the sake of the puppies best interest.

The buyer has three business days from the time of receipt of the puppy to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian. THIS IS MANDATORY. Should your vet's opinion differ from ours and the puppy is found to have a life threatening congenital issue, you must discuss with the seller immediately. Written proof of examination must be provided to the seller. Any request to return the dog to the seller for a full refund must be made within this time period and may only be requested should the dog prove to have a life threatening genetic condition. You can opt for a replacement puppy of similar value of a full refund upon return of puppy. If you need to surrender the puppy back for non-health related reasons with in 7 days you will be refunded after the puppy is placed in a new home. We will not refund you for a puppy returned for non health reasons after the first 7 days. This guarantee will be terminated if the dog is not examined within the allotted time. Shipping expenses are not refunded.

At first sign of puppy distress or illness the buyer must take puppy to licensed veterinarian and notify seller. Upon arrival all veterinary care and its associated costs are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the buyer. Stress induced illnesses such as hypoglycemia, colds, or diarrhea from traveling/stress/transitioning are not covered.

Any Vet Bills that the buyer incurs will not be paid by the seller, No exceptions. By signing below I understand that I am responsible for all vet care and understand we do not offer any type of reimbursement for this.

Puppy is guaranteed for life to be free from von Willebrand Disease, Degenerative Myelopathy, Multiple Drug Resistance and Progressive Remittal Atrophy, Progressive Rod Con Degeneration.

White River doodles is aware that there is no 100% guarantee when it comes to genetics, therefore Seller will warranty the health of the puppy from any life threatening hereditary and congenital diseases for 24 months from date of birth. If you puppy is found to have a life threatening hereditary or congenital disease, Seller will offer a replacement puppy of similar value at the sellers expense.

If for any reason you need to rehome your puppy you MUST contact White River Doodles first. puppies CANNOT be surrendered to an animal shelter for any reason. Puppies cannot be resold without the authorization of White River Doodles. We will always help you rehome your puppy or in an emergent situation we will gladly take the puppy back. We understand that life changing events may make this necessary.

Seller will do all that is required for up to date vaccinations and deworming protocols but seller cannot warrant against common puppy conditions such as hypoglycemia (low blood sugar from not eating) cold/kennel cough, allergies, protozoan type parasites (i.e. coccidia or giardia); or genetic conditions that are not deemed life threating.

Other exclusions to this guarantee: reactions to vaccines, over vaccinating, food or environmental allergies, reactions to flea/tick topical spots treatments, any eye or eyelid problems that appear after the first two vet checks. 

​

Seller cannot guarantee non shedding, color, size, temperament of puppy. Because doodles are a mix of two different breeds it is very hard to predict exactly what they will look like or act as adults. We can give you our best guess but there are no guarantees. 

​

All puppies are sold on a strict spay and neuter contract unless other arrangements have been made. We require proof of spay of neuter by no more than one year of age. Failure to spay of neuter will result in contract becoming void.

Full and Final agreement

The parties agree that this writing represents the entire agreement between them and that no other representations have been made regarding the puppy described above. this guarantee is non transferable.
